Happiness is when what you think what you say

and what you do are in harmony

سعادت آنست که انچه را که فکر می کنید میگوییدو انجام میدهید هماهنگ باشد

If we are to teach real peace in this world,

and we are to carry on a real war against war,

we shall have to begin with the children

اگر می خواهیم صلح واقعی را درین دنیا اموزش دهیم و اگر می خواهیم جنگی

بر ضد جنگ انجام دهیم باید با کودکان اغاز کنیم

I look only to the quality of man.

Not being faultless myself,

I won’t presume to probe into the faults of others

من تنها به صفات بارز یک فرد نگاه می کنم و چون خود بدون عیب نیست

م در جستجوی عیب دیگری نخواهم بود

There is a sufficiency in the world for

man’s need but not for man’s greed

در دنیا کفایتی برای احتیاجات بشر وجود دارد ولی نه برای حرص وطمع

It has always been a mystery to me

haw men can feel themselves honored

by the humiliation of their fellow being

همیشه برای من سوال بوده است که چگونه بشر می تواند با تحقیر انسانها

احساس افتخار کند

It is easy enough to be friendly to one’s

friends but to be friend the one

who regards himself as your

enemy is the quintessence of true religion

رفتار دوستانه داشتن با دوستان اسان است ولی دوست بودن با کسی که

خودش را دشمن شما میداند اصل مذهب حقیقی است

In prayer it is better to have

a heart without words than words without a heart

در دعا کردن بهتر است قلبی بدون کلمات داشته باشیم تا اینکه کلمات بدون قلب

There is nothing that wastes the body

like worry, and one who has any

faith in god should be ashamed

to worry about anything whatsoever

هیچ چیز به اندازه ی نگرانی بدن را تخریب نمی کند وکسی که

هیچ وفاداری بخدا ندارد همیشه نگران خواهد بود

]To give service to a sigle heart by a

single act is better than a thousand heads bowing in prayers

خدمت به یک فرد با یک عمل نیکو ازهزار بار خم شدن در عبادت بهتر است

You must not lose faith in humanity.

Humanity is an ocean, if a few drops

of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty

وفاداری به انسانیت را نباید فراموش کرد. انسانیت یک اقیانوس است.

اگر چند قطره اب اقیانوس کثیف شود اقیانوس کثیف نخواهد شد

You must be the same you wish to see in the world

شما باید همانی باشید که دوست دارید در دنیا ببینید .
